March On Three
Now In Production
March On Three (working title) is a documentary that follows the events and people surrounding the December 21, 2013 ruling by U.S. District Judge Robert J. Selby that struck town Utah's 2004 Amendment 3 ban against same sex marriage as "unconstitutional." Utah was an unlikely place to become a deciding battleground in the national legal fight to secure the marriage rights of same sex couples, yet is was. Arguably the nation's most conservative state, Utah's voter population is majority Republican and nearly 60% of the State are members of the LDS church; which believes homosexuality is a sin.
March On Three will examine Utah's journey from the 2004 passage of Amendment 3 to the June 2015 ruling by the United States Supreme Court providing marriage equality for all American's in all 50 States.
